Here's to another year at PAX AUS! What a fantastic time honestly, Josh and I had an absolute ball. We actually took one of our friends along for the day as well, Brandon and the 3 of us nerded out all over the place.
The biggest demo of the day was the new Super Mario Bros game that is releasing soon, we waited about an hour in the line for the demo and I can proudly say it was worth the entire time waiting in line. The demo was about 15 minutes long but considering the type of game it was a hefty demo, got to play a fair few levels and sections across the game.
Compared to 2022 PAX, this year was a little bit of a let down, the crowd just wasn't as excited as last year in my opinion, on top of that the games didn't get me. I tried to play a few of the small indie games but there was people and they were very reluctant to move at all from the games which is honestly really upsetting especially since there was line up at most games and people just didn't want to move.
I hope next year is better, bring on 2024 PAX! I am so excited just to be around in that atmosphere again honestly.
