Josh and I went on a little breakfast walk this morning, got up somewhat early to go around the corner before we headed off for the day. The breakfast we had was really nice and it was so cheap!

On the agenda for the day was a Thai cooking class, from our hotel it took I believe just over an hour to walk there it was bloody insane.
The cooking class took place at Green Garden Cooking School, our cook for the day was a very lovely lady named Porne and yes its pronounced the way you'd think.

On the menu for the day was Pad Thai, Tom Yum Soup, Green Thai Curry and Massamun Curry. All hand made by us, the experience was incredible and very organized. The chefs were so welcoming and accommodated everybody's needs. All the dishes we made were so quick and so easy to do, all made within a few minutes making it go so quick. As we sat down to eat our last meal as a group the chefs came in with some mango sticky rice and oh my lord was it good mango sticky rice. In Australia we never get mangos this nice, it's so disappointing, but these mangos oh, I could eat them all day!

After the cooking class we went straight to the biggest train station I've ever seen, it was so clean and so new I was shocked based on the rest of the city. As we waited for the overnight train we got a few snacks then we sat down trying to figure out flights (At this stage of the trip we were trying to extend from a 9 day trip to the 12 day trip, we were really enjoying Thailand) and it was causing us both to lose brain cells and want to give up. But as always I had just pure determination to get an answer either way, Josh was so excited to extend this trip and I really wanted to make him happy, he doesn't do much more himself so I wanted to do this one thing before we needed to be back home for Josh's university semester.
The overnight train was okay, I have been on a few before when I did world challenge in China but this train was much much nicer they were actually clean which I didn't expect. I got Josh to pack our sleeping bags for the trip because the over night trains in China were so gross I didn't want to lay on them without a protective layer. But in the end we didn't use the sleeping bags but I'm glad I was prepared. The train had multiple drop toilets, in our carriage we didn't get power points but the carriage with the rest of the group did so before bed we hung out with everybody just to charge our things.

That's it. Day 4 over, we fell asleep late on the train after a few more snacks and a lot more trying to get these flights to change. Sarah (our bloody awesome leader) and Josh spent a few hours on it before calling it quits so we went to sleep, Josh slept on the top bunk while I was in a dark haven almost below him.
