What a hell of a day! So many things to tell and so much food was consumed and it was just an amazing proper full day in Hanoi.
First off! We went down stairs of our hotel for a buffet style breakfast. It was strange, it was to order but they had some items in buffet style. They even had donuts and Bevan thought they were dumplings since both were in the same heater thing. We just sat at one of the tables and tried most things really while we waited for our pancakes and scrambled eggs to be brought to the table.

After Breakfast we went back to our room and came up with a plan for the morning, wasn't hard at all. We wanted to just walk around but make sure we go to the famous train street, sadly we missed a train going by but still walking down was a stunning experience, it was a very pretty street with or without the train.

Once we had finished walking down train street we had a mission to find food! Bevan found a Banh mi place we walked past earlier in the day so we v lined back there and it was worth the back tracking. For only a few dollars we got a full Banhmi and a cold Milo drink.
Belly's full we looped back to the hotel for an hour to rest as the rain got pretty heavy, after check out Bevan wanted to go back to a shopping centre we walked past last night after dinner so off we went. As we walked we past so many restaurants and wacky shops plus picked up a post card along the way.
After looking around lots of the shops we made a long walk up to the best Bahni mi shop on this trip so far! We considered this lunch and oh my God was it good. Very cheap and it was actually down the street from the very well known Banhmi 25 that every tourist goes to. Our food was much cheaper and there wasn't a line at all. Bevan got a meatball with cheese banhmi and I got a BBQ chicken one which was just mouth watering.
From lunch we only had a short walk to the new hotel to meet our tour leader Annalise so we began wondering in the general direction of the hotel.

Once we were all checked in we decided to go grab some coffee to just get us out of the hotel since we had basically explored everything in Hanoi we wanted to do and this coffee shop, Coffee A was a very pretty Cafe. We sat upstairs at the balcony which was awesome, the views were great and Bevan was joking that it was a small Shibuya.
A few hours passed between our coffee date and dinner but when it was time to go for dinner we went a few minutes down the road to a nice restaurant. Expensive considering all the other places Bevan and I had been eating at but even then it was a very lovely time trying to talking to the group and get to know one another, didn't work quiet as planned though since our group members aren't big talkers haha.
