The transaction from general sports bags to Nordace.
Over the years, we have gone through a few backpacks. While travelling the pair of us used suitcases, hiking bags and in a few cases we have used the old school bags of ours that started falling part. So we decided that we needed a more permanent solution since we travel, attend university plus take our bags to work. I was looking for something that was small and compact as well as a sturdy stylish backpack that didn't stick out to much. I spent so long researching different brands of bags but I never came across anything that I really liked the look of, until I came across the Nordace Siena Smart backpack. This backpack is absolutely stunning. The second I clicked on the website I instantly bought it, it really was love at first sight.
The bag over the last three years
Both of our Nordace bags have had a huge beating over the last three years. We have taken them everywhere with us since day 1. To Sydney, on small road trips, University, camping, work and the list just goes on and every time we take them with us they keep on surprising us. These Nordace bags hold up so well, in the past three years the only thing that hasd changed about these bags is the outer colour has faded, but through lots of rain, hot summer days and I'm pretty certain a spilled drink bottle inside it has always come back looking brand new after a swift clean.
During what seemed like a never-ending search for my dream backpack I never thought I would of ever actually find the bag that covers all my needs but I gotta tell you, this bag for sure ticks all my boxes. They are super lightweight and they compact down so well and on the opposite side of the scale, they keep their original shape no matter how much stuff you shove into it. I reckon there was a time I shoved half my wardrobe in it along with my school books as I was going camping for a few nights and that bag still looked as though it was empty (It sure didn't feel that way when I carried it around though).
These bags have so many small pockets on the inside of the main compartment which come in handy for storing all our smaller items on trips such as portable chargers as well as our cords. The main compartment is amazing just on its own, when we travelled to Sydney for our budget trip in October of 2021 we were able to comfortably fit enough clothing in them for the week with loads of space left over.
More features!
But wait, there's more! The Nordace smart bags have a suitcase strap making it easy to slip these bags over the handle of a suitcase. When I went to Queensland on a family trip without Josh in very early 2020 (before the world got locked down) the strap was an awesome feature giving me a hands-free option through the busy airport so I wasn't feeling like I was hitting everybody I walked past.
A safety feature that I believe should be implemented on all backpacks is the hidden zip-up pocket that is placed behind the suitcase strap, I use it for holding large amounts of money and it fits my passport perfectly. This pocket kept me from freaking out and panicking over losing money or misplacing my passport.
One other feature that has come in super handy as a student as well is the extra large pocket at the back of the bag, it is designed for laptops up to 15.5" in size which is perfect for me as I always carry around my HP Envy everywhere I go so I am always able to write or even watch my shows at all times.
The wrap up: Nordace Smart Bags
I feel as though I must show both sides to these bags and say something horrible to even it all out but in all honesty, I can't. I honestly don't have anything negative to say about the bags or Nordace as a company, the bags arrived very quickly, they are not only a super cool fashion statement but they are really awesome bags for all your needs whether it be travel, work or even school and university. If you are not sure what bag to get, I can truly say hands down that this bag is an absolute must-have.
