Day 5,6 +7: United States (California Adventure Park)

After the ice hockey, I got very sick, I must have caught a bug from somebody at the game because on days 5 and 6 I was basically bedridden, I want to believe it was just a normal flu but I don't think I've felt so gross honestly.

Day 6

Today was my last day inside California Adventure Park so I forced myself out of bed and got onto that shuttle to make my way down to the park. I had a big fever for most of the time I was there but I kept taking painkillers and cold and flu medication and I made it through. I did a bit more shopping, and we waited in line for the main parade they do in that park.

Sophia dragged me along to meet Anna from Frozen which was nice, the wait time was a few hours but it was indoors with air-conditioning so that helped, but we just waited around and listened to the music as we waited.

Another upside to coming to California Adventure was that I got to meet myself haha. One of the women was working inside one of the stores along the pier her name was Angel so we got to take this really horrible photo together quickly before Sophia and I got lunch for the day.

Day 7

The last and final day inside Disneyland and being in the United States of America. I used up my last reservation for Disneyland today, I struggled doing much in the heat but I was able to watch a few smaller shows and finally had my first ever dole whip. It wasn't my favourite Disney treat but it was okay, too much pineapple for me if I'm being honest.

That night as a group we sat around the fire down near the pool of the hotel we were staying at and we had pizza and smores. By this point the majority of us were sick but we were happy to all be together one last time. In the morning we all said our goodbyes, packed our bags and set off back towards Australia, it was honestly the best way to finish a trip like this. As much as I would have loved for Josh to come, I'm sure we will come to the States together in the near future.
