Day 2 of the tour and my first full day inside a Disney park. What a fantastic day honestly. Though I will admit, I didn't sleep most of the first night, time zones are hard and incredibly annoying. But never fear, we had a not so great breakfast and Starbucks to start the day. Breakfast at the Cambria was just mediocre, there was nothing special about it and the only memorable thing bout it was the bright yellow eggs that had the texture of hard mash potato, it was very strange.
Disneyland!
When we left our hotel we all headed towards Disneyland since we were rope dropping the Pirates of a Caribbean ride. After going on this myself all I could think of was the 1985's film The Goonies, the entire ride for me personally was basically the end of that movie were they found One Eyed Willies Ship. Waiting on the line for this ride normally takes hours but since we arrived as soon as we humanly could our wait time was maybe 30 minutes tops, time went by fast in line with all the Disney magic going on around us so I didn't even realize that we waited half an hour at all.

After the ride had finished the group made its way towards The Nightmare Before Christmas ride where the waiting line for that was drastically different, we waited for over an hour to get on that ride from memory but while we waited in line we mobile ordered our lunch so we could as a group inside one of the restaurants in the park. The ride was another slow ride kind of like Pirates but this ride for sure had more going on, more lights and animatronics plus my shirt was glowing in the dark which I wasn't aware of until I got on that ride.
Since one of the leaders didn't get on the ride with us, they waited with one of the tour members that leader was generous enough to buy the entire group beignets which were some sort of powdered donut, most of my donut ended up on my face plus my camera wore some but oh well it was so worth it. Should of seen Sophia, she was just as bad as I was eating those things.

After we had our donuts, Sophia and I decided to split because I wanted to do some of my Christmas shopping for my family and she needed to go to one of her lightening lane passes she had organized so I went along and found some awesome gifts for my family, I could of walked in andout of those shops for hours it was amazing some of the stuff they had there.
After a few hours of shopping I found the two sisters Rachel and Tanya again so I tagged along with them while they did their shopping, while we were walking around we actually ran into a few of my favourite characters. The three of us were lucky enough to get photos with Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse and Chip, all three were so nice, I was even lucky enough to get a massive hug from Chip before our photo was taken.

Once our photo with Minnie Mouse was taken it was almost time for the parade so we got some really expensive ice-cream sundaes and waited for the parade to start, Sophia met up with us at this point which was nice, she filled us in about the rides she had been on and I laughed because all I did was shop and walk around all day.

The parade healed my inner Disney, watching all the characters that I completely forgot about made me so happy and watching so many of the Disney workers dress up and sing along really made the moment special for me. This parade does happen every day and since we were there during the Christmas period, it was based on Christmas. Most people will tell you that you need to line up literally hours before the parade even starts to get a good seat and honestly that just isn't true, we arrived at Disney main street only 30 minutes before all of the music began to play and we had some of the best spots so in my opinion there is no need to be that dramatic and line up as soon as you walk into the park, just enjoy your day and come half an hour before hand, you'll be fine.Â

We ended the day walking around on sore feet, carrying bags of goodies and a yummy warm churro in our bellies. Sophia and myself waited to take photos of the castle until it got dark since at this point half the park had already left or they were lining up for the firework show. We were so excited for the fireworks and fantasmic but we had come tumbling down, we had officially hit rock bottom and we were walking around with our eyes closed so ate our churros then called it one of the best days of our lives by heading to the nice comfy hotel beds to pass out.Â
